Privacy Policy
Imperium Task Manager ("Imperium", "we") is a work-management service for cleaning and field-service companies: a mobile app used by crew members and a web console used by managers. This policy explains what information the service handles and why. We collect only what the service needs to work — there is no advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking, and we never sell your information.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), plus your company affiliation and role (manager or crew).
- Work records — jobs, checklists and their completion status, clock-in/clock-out times, and issue reports you submit.
- Photos — pictures you take or attach as proof of completed work or to document an issue. Each photo records when it was taken as part of the work record.
- Messages — chat messages between you and your company's managers.
We do not collect your location, contacts, or anything from your device beyond what is listed above. Camera and photo-library access is used only when you choose to attach a photo.
How your information is used
Solely to provide the service to you and your company: scheduling and tracking work, verifying completed jobs with photo proof, timesheets, issue handling, and team communication. Nothing else.
Who can see your information
- Your company — managers at your company can see your work records, photos, hours, issue reports, and messages with them. Crew members see their own work. Data is never visible to other companies.
- Service providers — the service runs on Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) and the manager console is hosted by Netlify. They process data on our behalf and have no rights to use it otherwise.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required to by law.
Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Photos are stored in private storage and served through short-lived signed links. Access is enforced per-company at the database level, so each company can only ever reach its own records.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account at any time in the mobile app: Profile → Delete account. This removes your account, sign-in, and personal records (hours, issue reports, and messages). Photos attached to your company's jobs are part of the company's work records and remain with the company. If you are the only manager of a company with other members, you'll be asked to make someone else a manager first.
Data retention
Your information is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal records are deleted immediately as described above. A company's work records (jobs, checklists, and their photos) are kept while the company uses the service.
Children
Imperium is a workplace tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date. Meaningful changes will be highlighted in the app.
